Tropicarium
Refurbishment of a brutalist architectural icon by Japanese architect Kisho Kurokawa.
The building, which houses the BAYER AG staff restaurant in Monheim, looks like a Brutalist UFO embedded in a wonderful park landscape and was designed by the Japanese architect Kisho Kurokawa at the end of the 1970s.
The building is to be modernized in terms of acoustics, appearance and artificial lighting in the spirit of the original design. Two conference rooms will also be refurbished.
