Mitsubishi Electric Europe

OFFICES, COMPLETED, NEW BUILDING

The new Mitsubishi Electric European headquarters building was awarded the highest LEED Platinum certification.

The new headquarters building for Mitsubishi Electric Europe links different departments both horizontally and vertically - across six storeys. The diverse uses, including offices, conference zones, workshops and a showroom, are grouped around a glass main hall. Thanks to its transparent appearance, which contrasts with the otherwise solid parts of the building, it has an attractive, welcoming effect even from a distance. The diverse display of flexible furniture, product exhibitions and small meeting rooms makes the Magistrale a central meeting point for the 750 employees and guests and ensures communicative exchange, sociability and well-being. Its effect as a recognizable feature of the building is reinforced and continued by the adjoining green courtyards. Beyond the courtyards, the floor-to-ceiling windows create visual links to every workplace in every part of the building.

In the flexibly configurable working environments and office landscapes - with good natural lighting - an open and lively feeling of space is created, which conveys cohesion and identity.
