Mauritzhof Hotel
The Mauritzhof Hotel from the 1950s shines in the splendor of a modern design hotel after renovation and expansion.
The exterior and interior were modernized and a full storey was added to the existing building.
It is the only hotel directly on the green promenade that surrounds the historic old town in a ring, in a prominent position for all arriving visitors to Münster.
The hotel's former brickwork was completely removed and all parts were renovated to make them more energy-efficient. The new modern natural stone façade and the formal window design with vertical pilaster strips round off the appearance of the Mauritzhof both visually and in terms of energy efficiency. The new shell of the building conveys a high level of quality and runs as a common thread through the entire interior design. A purist, comfortable look, a sophisticated lighting concept and custom-made beds are all part of the modernized design hotel.
