Our school construction sites in Münster are in the final stretch—and that calls for a celebration. Following the topping-out ceremony at Freiherr-vom-Stein-Gymnasium a few weeks ago, it was Ratsgymnasium’s turn on Friday.

Amid changeable weather, the topping-out wreath was placed, the nails were hammered in, and this milestone was celebrated with remarks from school administrators, city representatives, and Kilian Kresing. Afterward, project manager Tim Sommer gave interested visitors a tour of the construction site—a look behind the scenes.

The four-story extension will open after the fall break. It will feature modern classrooms, course rooms, and specialized learning spaces, as well as music and art studios and a large self-study center with a teachers' library.
