Christian and Kilian appointed to the Council for Building Culture
The Building Culture Convention takes place every two years in Potsdam and serves as an interdisciplinary platform for initiating and deepening discussions on topics relevant to building culture in Germany.
Christian Kawe und Kilian Kresing gehören zu den 350 Personen, die für die nächsten vier Jahre in den Konvent berufen wurden. Among those represented are the organizers and sponsors of nationally and regionally significant awards, architects, engineers, and urban and landscape planners, as well as building owners, contractors, and individuals who promote or critically examine building culture.
The Federal Foundation presented the 2026/27 Building Culture Report, titled “Design – Processes, Construction, Cohesion,” to the public for the first time and discussed it with guests. At the “Base Camp” on the first day of the event, five forums invited participants to engage with and contribute to current building culture topics.
The Convention’s public meeting serves as the central forum for shaping public opinion at the Federal Foundation for Building Culture. The members of the Convention bring issues related to building culture to the attention of the public and therefore play a key role in the Foundation’s network.
