MIPIM, one of the world's leading real estate trade fairs, took place in Cannes, France, from March 11 to 14, 2025. It is regarded as a key barometer of sentiment on the global real estate markets and reflects the trends and challenges facing the industry. This year, the trade fair once again attracted thousands of companies, investors, city representatives, architects and engineers to over 20,000 square meters at the Palais des Festivals. As one of the largest joint stands, NAX presented the German Pavilion “Excellence in Architecture” with 29 exhibitors from the architecture and construction industry.

The mood among exhibitors and visitors at MIPIM 2025 was characterized by cautious optimism. Despite ongoing economic and geopolitical uncertainties, the industry was confident that the market will stabilize.

Auch am vom NAX, einer Initiative der Bundesarchitektenkammer, organisierten und von Bundeswirtschaftsministerium geförderten German Pavilion war die Stimmung geprägt von vorsichtigem Optimismus. Zwar seien in diesem Jahr erneut weniger Besucherinnen auf der MIPIM anzutreffen, die Gespräche seien dadurch jedoch qualitativer und ertragsreicher als in anderen Jahren, berichteten mehrere Standteilnehmer. In diesem Jahr präsentierten 29 Aussteller mit Architekturmodellen und auf Monitoren ihre Leistungen und nutzten das auf Kommunikation und Netzwerken ausgelegte Standdesign, um Geschäftspartner zu treffen neue Kontakte zu knüpfen.
